Each year, 25,000 Canadians are diagnosed with dementia and by the year 2020, nearly 250,000 seniors in Ontario will be living with some form of dementia.
Ontario recognized 20 outstanding seniors for their significant contributions to their communities and to the province with the Ontario Senior Achievement Awards.
National Seniors Day
October 1st is National Seniors Day. The Government of Ontario recognizes the contributions seniors have made in their communities.
