  • young-old (people 55 to 74)
  • middle-old ( people 75 to 84)
  • oldest-old (people 85 and older)

Public policy strives to advance the well-being of all people in society regardless of age, gender, ability, race, ethnicity or class. This means promoting the principles of the National Framework on Aging: dignity, independence, participation, fairness and security for all seniors.
