Driver's Licences

Renew a Driver's Licence

You can renew a driver’s licence, online or at a ServiceOntario centre, as early as 180 days before it expires and up to 12 months after it expires.

Renew a G Driver’s Licence: 80 years and over

Once you turn 80, you need to renew your driver’s licence every two years.

Enhanced Driver’s Licence

An enhanced driver’s licence is an upgrade to an Ontario driver’s licence that can be used as a travel document between Canada and the United States of America when travelling by road or water.
